Thanks aqgain, Premkumar, for your comment. You're very faithful to me!
Not all the "ladies" are gone of course, only where it was not honoust and there was trade in drugs and woman. But for woman who are treated well by their 'boss' and are legal working, it's still allowed. So families with their children you constant will not see in that area of Amsterdam. And maybe it's good that there are prostitues, I think otherwise there schould be raped much more women.

I see that I fill your whole guestbook, almost alone !!!!! Bye!

Thanks again for your comment ( Venice)
I never was in Venice, but I like the masks very much. This are not painted faces, that's easy to see, I think.
In Barcelona I've been and I've seen the 'living statues' of course along the 'Ramblas', where everybody walks. Yes, you can see them in many European cities, also in Amsterdam. They of course 'beg' for money, but it is almost a profession, don't you think. The same as making good music on the street for money. In the Netherlands you need a licence to do those things! So it's different from begging.
There are homeless vagabonds in Europe enough, who are begging in the old fashioned way. In the Netherlands nobody has to beg. Even when you are workless, you have the right to receive a social security, a monthly payment. Not too much, but you can live. The only criterion is to registrate yourself and you must have a definite postal adress. But some people choose to be a vagabond and beggar.

Hello Prem, ( it is GOEDE MORGEN )
Nice to meet you here and be welcome on Rediffiland, a nice place to be.
Thanks for inviting me to be friends, I accept it with pleasure!
And thanks for your comments. It must have been a miraculous moment between two "sunrises" ! It's a wonderful song, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Did you knew that George Baker is Dutch?? Although his (artist) name is Englisch sounding. The group doesn't excist anymore, but George sings still solo.
The place where you was in Holland is not the very best we have here, but o.k. it's famous in the world. If you meant the "red-light-district" then. Maybe I'm going to write a new post about that place, because things have changed there the last days.
About Theo van Gogh: I agree with you, not any religion in the world concedes violence. And actuelly we have a politician here, who provoke the Islam, in a way, that can become very dangerous for him : Geert Wilders, remember the name.......
