Beauty parlours,Health clubs, Hospitals etc. are doing brisk business these days extracting lot of money from the public.The villain here is none other than the FOOD what we gulp in. If we take the right food at right time you can easily avoid a trip to any of these places, can save a lot of moolah and most imporantly live healthy.

For this what is most important is to have little will power and to attain this the easiest way is to practice yoga regularly. The difference between Yoga and other forms of exercises is that when all other exercises concentrate only on body,Yoga deals with Body, Mind and Soul. The ultimate aim of Yoga is to take you to the perfect bliss by the extinction of individuality and for this at first we've to purify our Body and Mind. The very first day of practice  you can feel the difference happening in your body and after few days you will be a different person altogether.

Coming back to food, With little cautious about the health I am sure you can avoid most of the cooked foods. In the begining start with breakfast and then slowly you can increase the no.of items and i am sure that the energy and the freshness you feel will make you change your food habits. Drinking 1.5 Litre water early morning will help you get rid of most of the disease other than those are genetic. This is no Herculian task as one may think. Only the first 3 days you will find it bit difficult  but then on you start enjoying every bit of it by seeing the result on your body.Please make sure not to take any food for the next one hour.  Along with keeping many desease at bay this also gives you a glowing skin. By doing this you end up drinking more than 2.5 litres of water daily.

 Here is some menu for those interested.

Breakfast:

 Wholemeal bread, Sprout Dal, Honey in place of Jam, Peanut Butter. Breakfast Cereals, Oats, Fruits, Milk

Keep all those vegetables which can be eaten raw available with in reach so that you can go for it whenever you feel hungry. By doing this you can eat less during the Lunch also you can alter the habit of having three main meal a day and eat only when you feel hungry.

In the beginning stage one find it hard to leave the lunch, for them, make a broth of  broken  brown rice or wheat and if some sprout dal is mixed with this in the middle of cooking then it doesn't require any other curry. For a change go for Jacket Potato or any other roots. Try to include Colour capsicum, Broccoli, in the salad. Broccoli can be boiled a little and used.  Do not waste the water in which you boil vegetable but use this in place of soup. Once or twice a week include some fish which has more Omega-3. Eat lots of fruits.

Evening time go for a veg. soup and fruits

It's not necessary to stick to this but keep exploring and try out your favourites everytime, keeping the cooked items to a minimum.Whenever you get temptation to go for a feast dont hesitate and enjoy.If you can follow some routine like this I can assure that you will be a different man altogether and start enjoying the real life.

HOW MUCH CARE WE TAKE WHEN WE BUY EVEN A CHEAP ITEM FROM THE MARKET. IMPORTANCE AND CARING INCREASES ACCORDING TO THE COST. WE SPEND HOURS CLEANING AND MAINTAINING THESE VALUBLE ITEMS BUT AT THE SAME TIME  WE NEVER BOTHER TO TAKE CARE OF THOSE INVALUABLE AND PRECIOUS THINGS WHICH ARE ALWAYS WITH US UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THEM. YES.... I AM TALKING ABOUT OUR HUMAN BODY.

TAKE ANY PART OF OUR BODY WHICH IS A WONDER IN ITSELF. TAKE THE CASE OF EYE. IT IS ALWAYS SAID THAT ONLY A BLIND KNOWS THE REAL VALUE OF THE EYES, BECOME GHANDHRI FOR A DAY TO KNOW ABOUT THIS MOST WONDERFUL  CREATION BY THE CREATOR. HUMAN TECHNOLOGY COULD NOT REACH ANYWHERE NEAR TO THIS. THE MORE YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR BODY IT BECOMES MORE AND MORE INTRUGING AND MINDBLOGING .

WE EAT MANY VARIETIES OF FOOD WITH DIFFERENT COMPOSITION BUT ONCE IT IS GONE INSIDE EVERYTHING BECOMES BLOOD AND MINERALS  IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT YOU EAT OR IN WHAT POSITION YOU EAT,STANDING OR LYING. GRAVITY DOES NOT MATTER HERE NOR THERE IS ANY PUMP TO SEND IT THROUGH THE STOMACH AND LATER OVERTHROW THE WASTE.

NO NEED TO GO TO ANY WIKIPEDIA BUT JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LOOK INSIDE AND EXPLORE YOURSELF TO KNOW THIS MOST INVALUBLE MACHINERY IN THIS UNIVERSE WHICH CANNOT BE MANUFACTURED BY ANY COMPANY IN THIS WORLD. EVEN A SINGLE HAIR FROM OUR BODY IS A MARVELLOUS PIECE OF ENGINEERING THAN ANY MAN MADE SUBSTANCE IN THIS EARTH.

BUT HOW MUCH TIME  WE SPEND A DAY TO KEEP THIS WONDERFUL MACHINARY STRONG AND HEALTHY ? WE NEVER DARE TO MIX KEROSINE WITH PETROL TO RUN OUR CAR KNOWING VERY WELL THAT IT WILL DAMAGE THE ENGINE OF OUR BELOVED  VEHICLE WHICH WE BOUGHT SPENDING ALL OUR SAVINGS . THE SAME THOUGHT NEVER COMES TO YOUR MIND WHEN YOU ARE SENDING DOWN THOSE JUNK FOODS INTO YOUR STOMACH. LATER WHEN YOU ARE DOWN WITH PEPTIC ULSER OF COURSE YOU TAKE A VOW NOT TO EAT JUNK FOOD ANYMORE BUT ONCE YOU ARE OUT OF BED CURED, YOU START EATING AGAIN.

OUR  SAGES  HAD BETTER KNOWLEDGE THAN ANY OF THESE WIKIE,S ABOUT OUR BODY AND IF THEY ARE FOLLOWED THEN WE CAN LIVE HEALTHY , HAPPILY AND LIVE LONG. IT IS EMBARASSING TO KNOW THAT WHEN EVEN THE WESTERNERS WHOM MANY OF US MAKE IDOLS  ARE TURNING TO VEGGIES WE ARE FINDING SOLACE IN JUNK FOOD. 

THE REASON WE DONT TAKE CARE OF OUR BODY IS BECAUSE WE GOT IT ALL FREE.

GELLY KETTU - BULL FIGHT

Gelly Kettu was banned for a day and as usual removed the ban with the assurance of the local govt.when did the supreme court start beleiving our politicians!

This is a cruel game which must be banned at any cost. It's disgusting to hear that the Bulls are made to drink liquor.I only Wish those involved in such cruel games be  reborn as bulls in their next birth and wish them good luck.

Basmati ,Biriyani And CANCER

Recently Something shown on INDIA TV send shivers all over me. It was shown live and there was everything happening infront of  my eyes. It is something concerning to each and every one of us and thus I thought i shall put it here on the blog as an awareness to all those who loves BASMATI RICE AND BIRIYANI.

They have shown how some people around Delhi clean the rice to make it white and shining. For this process they use one of the most dangerous substance called ASBESTOS's in powder form. Asbestos is banned in almost all developed country's since it is a CANCER producing agent,but here the rice is being mixed with ASBESTOS  and TALCUM POWDER and rubbed together to get those shining whiteness.

IF we think that the Goverment will take some action against such adulteration then we are living in a fool's paradise. I am quite sure that as usual there will be some bigwigs behind this too. So dear friends we have no choice but take care of ourselves by avoiding those shining white rise and opt for little brownish original once. once everybody stops buying white rice then obviously they have no chOice but stop going for that extra whiteness. even the smell of ASBESTOS can cause CANCER, so you can imagine the seriousness of this. Think of our Kids. If such adulterations goes unchecked most of our citizen will be patients in the near future.

If anyone wants to buy such rice, pl. make sure that you clean it number of times before use. there are other options also for those who loves biriyani. There is a small rice from Coorg area which is also used as biriyani rice but make sure that is not shining much. Always remember that Whiteness or shining of the rice has got nothing to do with the tatste of  Biriyani. In fact the famous Calicut Biriyani is made of this Tiny rise from Coorg. SO GET CLOSER TO NATURE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Remember those words '' EAT TO LIVE AND NOT LIVE TO EAT"
